Rooted Youth respects your privacy. This page explains what information we receive through this website and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you send a private prayer request, we collect your message and any name or phone number you choose to provide. A phone number is optional and should be included only if you want a designated adult Rooted leader to follow up.

Notes added to the discussion questions are stored only in your browser on your device. Rooted does not receive or see those private notes unless you decide to share them.

How we use information

• To read and respond to prayer requests.
• To offer care and make safety follow-up when appropriate.
• To operate and protect the website.

We do not sell personal information or use prayer-request information for advertising. Prayer requests are not posted publicly.

Who can see prayer requests

Prayer requests are shared only with designated adult Rooted leaders who need the information to offer care and follow-up. Our form provider, Formspree, processes and delivers the form submission to us. Rooted's website code does not intentionally write prayer-request text to local storage, session storage, or Azure website storage.

Important safety exception

We treat prayer requests with care and respect. If a request indicates an immediate risk of harm to you or someone else, Rooted leaders may share information with a parent or guardian, emergency services, or other appropriate people to help protect someone. This form is not monitored 24/7. If there is immediate danger, call 911. In the United States, you can also call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

How long we keep information

We keep prayer-request information only as long as reasonably needed for care, follow-up, safety, or administration. We use reasonable steps to protect information, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

Teens and children

This site and prayer-request form are intended for people age 13 and older. If you are under 13, do not submit personal information; ask a parent or guardian to contact Rooted for you.

Your questions and choices

You can contact us to ask about, update, or request deletion of personal information you submitted. We may need to keep limited information when safety or legal responsibilities require it.
